Please state which room you wish to hire.
The
rooms available are:
St
Mary's Church Hall
The hire cost is £15 per hour.
An amount of time before and after your function must be added to allow you to
setup and then tidy-up the hall.
A minimum of 1 hour is suggested. This allows for tables to put out, bouncy castle
to be errected etc before your guests arrive.
If both the hall and the library are hired for use at the same time, then the
combined cost is £20 per hour.
The hall is 13.5m long by 11m wide by 4 metres high or 46ft long by 36ft wide
by 13 foot high.
The estimated hall capacity is as follows:
- Theatre or Auditorium style with rows of chairs = 177 people
- Banquet style with people around round tables = 122 people
- Conference style with people seated around rectangular tables = 53 people
- Reception style with people milling around and some chairs around the walls
= 177 people
- Classroom style with people seated at only one side of rectangular tables =
93 people
- Trade show exhibit style using booths of about 10'x10' = 7 booths. Narrower
booths (eg 8' wide) would permit a total of 9 booths.

St
Mary's Church Library
(This is not suitable for wheel chair use.)
The hire cost is £10 per hour.
If both the hall and the library are hired for use at the same time, then the
combined cost is £20 per hour.
The library is 10m long by 8.5m wide by 2.3 metres high or 32.5ft long by 27.5ft
wide by 7.5 foot high.
The estimated hall capacity is as follows:
- Theatre or Auditorium style with rows of chairs = 100 people
- Banquet style with people around round tables = 70 people
- Conference style with people seated around rectangular tables = 30 people
- Reception style with people milling around and some chairs around the walls
= 100 people
- Classroom style with people seated at only one side of rectangular tables =
53 people
- Trade show exhibit style using booths of about 10'x10' = 4 booths. Narrower
booths would permit no difference to the total.

Christ
Church Pastoral Centre
The hire cost is £12 per hour.
An amount of time before and after your function must be added to allow you to
setup and then tidy-up the centre. A minimum of 1 hour is suggested.
The
usable area of the building is 7.7m long by 6.9m wide by 3 metres high or 25ft
long by 22.5ft wide by 10ft high.
The estimated hall capacity is as follows:
- Theatre or Auditorium style with rows of chairs = 63 people
- Banquet style with people around round tables = 43 people
- Conference style with people seated around rectangular tables = 18 people
- Reception style with people milling around and some chairs around the walls
= 45 people
- Classroom style with people seated at only one side of rectangular tables =
63 people
- Trade show exhibit style using booths of about 10'x10' = 2 booths. Narrower
booths (eg 8' wide) would permit a total of 3 booths..

The
Facilities are:
Kitchen:
There is the usage of a kitchen, but you will need to bring your own tea/coffee/sugar
etc.
Cups, mugs and teaspoons are available, but the room hirer is asked to wash,
dry and replace them after usage.
The kitchen for St Mary's Church Hall and Library is a shared kitchen.
Toilets:
Christ Church Pastoral Centre has full disabled access toilets.
St Mary's Church Hall and Library do NOT have toilets suitable for wheel chair
use.
